This is one of the better hostels I have been to. The staff were helpful and the other travelers were fun and looking to go out and see the town. The location is convenient for getting off the train, but it is far away from all the sights in Fukuoka. Its easy to get to the subway, but when they stop running at 12 at night its a long walk home.

A great hostel to spend some time in Fukuoka. As the previous reviews state here it can seem out of the way but is really easy to find and close to subway stops so you don't at all feel out of the way. The staff were excellent and very helpful and provided good opportunities to meet other travellers. All round good place and good memories.

The hostel is clean and includes free use of internet computers, a large kitchen, TV lounge, and other such facilities, which is more than I can say for many places I have stayed. It still, however, gives the impression of extremely basic lodgings, and not the air of cleanliness that one gets in a proper hotel. All told, it served the purpose and was wonderfully cheap, but for a pleasant experience, I think that from now on I will never choose a hostel again. Ryokan or minshuku are sometimes

This hostel was about a 20 minute walk from hakata station. It isn't close to a subway stop and far from any attractions in Hakata or Fukuoka. It was clean and it did its purpose of a place to stay for one night.
