When I checked into this hostel I was given no information on where anything was in the hostel or how to get around town, the staff definately dont go out of their way to help you. Most of the brochures they provide are in German. Calling it a 'Youth' hostel is abit wrong as a majority of people staying there were from Austria and over the age of 35, so it was hard to make any conversation! There is also no lock on the dorm door and the place is very dark and unfriendly.

Excellent place! If I'm in that direction again I will certainly stay there.

20 min walk from the Hauptbahnhof. I wouldnt recommend walking there if u have heavy luggage as the ground is pretty rough. Lady at the reception was really nice and helpful, recommending a lot of places to go and how to get there. Hostel is equipped with a lot of maps and stuff. They had maps of FEldkirch, Liechtenstein, etc. They also had bus guides on all the buses in town and buses out of town (ie to liechtenstein or switzerlan). Bed was a little small and cramped. The room was also a little
