This is the best hotel we have ever stayed at, Michael and his business parter made this place feel like home. If we ever return to Bali it will be to stay here. The place has a magical feel about it, the pool is great and the food is amazing (and cheap).

It's the perfect place in Bali for a romantic & relaxing vacation. It has a beautiful garden. Hibiscus flowers and Papaya trees sorround the crystal-clear pool. The best breakfast in the whole island. The best way to get around Bali is renting a motorcycle or jeep, the rent is very cheap and getting a license takes a few minutes.

This place is beautiful! And by far the cleanest place we stayed in Bali. The bathrooms were the best--a real shower (hard to find in Indonesia!) with hot water. The staff is really friendly but not pushy, as some people are. My only complaint is that the hotel is not really in Sanur--it's about a half hour walk (or an easy Rp. 40,000 ($4) cab ride) from the city. It's about a 10 minute walk from a black sand beach, but it's not really the kind of beach where you can sit/swim. Overall Tropica
