Very nice hotel for a very good prise. Next time we go to Kyoto we take it again. Very near to the main station (15min walk) and at the same time near to Gion and also the main shopping streets.

The staff was very helpful and they had lots of maps and guides for the area. I would recommend staying in a place closer to downtown Kyoto. It is not easy to get around that city, no matter what the official line is, so it is better to place yourself firmly in the middle of the action.
