This is the best hostel I have stayed in. The renovated old house was clean and modern but still had lots of character. The staff were excellent and the hostel was well set up with lots of room. The hostel was great value for money even without the train station pickup, breakfast and dinner being included.

It became our favourit number one in Bulgaria. Don't spoil your time to find something else. They really offer the best value in Veliko. Even when the pick-up service was not available, we could take a taxi on their expenses. The setting is superb in a totally renoveted house not far away from the main attraction the Tsarevets fort. The rooms/dorms are fresh and clean, so is the sanitary. Outside, upstairs, is a big terras and garden. The staff is adorable. What morecould I say. Enjoy your stay

Staff were great. If you catch bus no. 5 from the train station, wait until you get to the stop right in front of the castle. All good even thought they were booked out.

In my years of traveling, this is the first hostel that has actually impressed me enough to write a review. Beautifully restored Bulgarian villa, great service (WIFI, free-pickup, breakfast, dinner), comfortable beds, nice people... I felt guilty I wasn't paying more.
