Azer was very nice, helpful, and friendly. I stayed with a family of five in a room with five beds, so security really wasn't an issue as far as our luggage and personal belongings went. The location was great, it was near the Promenade des Anglais, and next to some very high class shops. It was also very close to the Tourist Information center, the police station, and the tram, however you'd need a bus to get to/from the airport.

we had booked months in advance and after settling in more people arrived then there were beds. the staff could not be contacted as the front desk was closed at 6pm. we had to share our undersized single bed to prevent a riot. we had to check out early in the morning and there was still no-one at the front desk. we left a note explaining what had happened and left a phone number to be contacted but no-one there could care less. would never go back again.

Best aspect of this place is its location. Close to everything you'd wanna see by foot, including old city, main shopping. Right in middle of some fancy shops and nice restaurants. Literally a stone throw from the beach. Staff very friendly and helpful. If we were to return to Nice we would come back here.
