Mr Bong is a very helpful guess house owner. He is gentle and very concerned with the well being of all his guess. I am a 45 years old woman artist. I was a bit lost when I arrived in Seoul. Mister Bong came to pick me up at the bus stop. He helped me as well find a bank to use my canadian card. Then he help me again negociate the rental of a cell phone. Later I was highly exhausted and needed to sleep. I wasn't sure if I would stay because a guess house being what it is, there was some n

The place is falling apart, the sink in the upstairs bathroom has no pipe so the water leaks into a small plastic bucket that nobody hardly changes so it leaks on to the floor. The door is unlocked most of the time and there are shoes and umbrallas scattered all over the floor. I do not know why Mr. Bong insist we take off our shoes since the place is dirty, The kitchen has pans of food left on the stove for a least a few days when I was staying there, and dirty dishes piled up in the sink left

Bong house is cool. There's a good common space for drinking a beer, the beds are clean and comfortable, and the staff is doing it right. My only complaint is that they keep the AC on too much. Oh, that and the 4 bed dorm is a bit dungeounish.

What made us comfortable enough to stay at this place was because of their staff! Although the room for 5 was quite small (due to basement area) and hot (Uncle Bong said he's going to put airconditioner in that room :P) we'll come back for sure! we're already missing Bong's house :( Location was great, centre of Seoul and walking distance to shops, cafes and restaurant
