This place was great in many ways, and it was good to have eggs for breakfast. The only bad thing was that there were cats and I am allergic to cats and stayed in a room upstairs that they can jump in to through the gap at the top of the door.

The staff is especially kind. Unfortunately, when I was there, San Blas lost it's water for one day...Otherwise, it's better to have a room at the back of Casa de la Gringa I for more quiet and be warned the very hot showers are too hot! It's burn or freeze! Also, the Annex is freezing, but the bed are good and have at least 4 blankets each!

The rooms vary a lot, the first few nights we spent here we had a beautiful loft bedroom, but on our return we were given a room in a separate building with no window which was quite noisy. Like the rest of South America, hot water is sporadic at best, which is fine...but don´t pretend that you do have good hot water!! Location is excellent, San Blas is the place to be in Cuzco! I would stay here again, but I would want a loft bedroom!
