I found the location a bit problematic - even though they had vans traveling to the tram station. It was not easily accessible.

20 minutes uphill walk is REALLY strenuous. My shower had draining problems and flooded into our room--kind of disgusting. There's a guy that goes around giving travel advice..that's cool. It was hot when I was there and no A/C so be ware if you are going in July.

Its a hard hostel to review - it has a massive reputation. It is a long way from anywhere, tram ride and then walk up a monster hill. The security in large dorms is non-existent. The bar is brilliant but after 10:30pm someone is employed to shhhhh you if you talk outside - a Yr 10 camp feel. Maybe the hostels reputation has gone to a few staffs heads. Too much vomit in toilets. I did have a good time here but it didnt live up to the hype and comparison with some of the other of Europes Famous.
