Our room was private c/w ensuite bathroom. It was comfortable and well furnished including a small refrigerator, table and chairs, A/C and roof mounted oscillating fan. The staff were great and the free ride from the airport was a bonus. They are also a travel agent and can recommend virtually any excursions such as the barrier reef, Daintree rainforest etc and arrange rental cars at very competitive rates. Highly recommended.

This was a comfortably middle of the road, good value for money hostel. The bathrooms were very clean and the hostel was well situated right on the waterfront and a onlyshortish walk to the town centre. Parking was readily available onthe street outside the hostel for those who required it.

Really enjoyed staying here...staff were very friendly and helpful. It is very quite(atleast when I was there)though...this suited me but some people may be looking for a more lively hostel.
