Enjoyed my stay here. Close to all the main attractions and plenty going on the evenings with BBQ nights and pisco sour \"tasting\"...

I had a great time in Hostel Forrestal. Pato and the rest of the staff make real efforts to make sure everyone socialises well with some sort of event organised every night normally at no extra cost. The only thing we did have to pay for was the BBQ which had huge quantities of food so was well worth it. Thank you for a fantastic time. Alex, England

The staff at hostel Forestal are awesome! Try and make it to one of their BBQs and you're guarenteed to have a good night! The hostel is really sociable, great little lounge room, free internet, beds were fine! I will definately stay here again next time im in Santiago.

Had a good time at the hostel, met nice people and had great free drinking nights! However, our room was in poor condition, it was dirty and the covers on our double bed had blatantly not been washed for a very long time. We had two mattresses which sank in the middle like a soup bowl!! We spoke to some others and apparently the dorm beds are also the same and sink in the middle.
