If you want prostetutes just around the corner, then it\'s good. But I don\'t recomend it. So what ever you do, do not take it.

The place wasn't as nice as the pictures make it out to be, but for $11/night I honestly didn't expect a whole lot. I would've preferred it to be a bit cleaner, but the staff was very helpful (be sure to bring a copy of your receipt/security deposit if you book online). Only a $16 taxi ride from the SJO airport. Good value for the $.

This is a very tidy place to stay and handy as it is near the bus station. We arrived in a major off season, but it seems like more of a hotel environment than a fun place to meet a lot of people. Still, a very good value.

While we stayed there there was a man who played hes music extremly loud and sang along at 6.30am! Bathrooms werent clean at all and no warm water!

This hostel was excellent! The staff were very nice and helpful (gave us directions and maps around San Jose, arranged taxi rides to the airport, etc). The rooms are no frills but clean enough. The open air lobby and seating area is very pretty. I would recommend this hostel to anyone traveling through the city, especially since the bus station is two blocks away.
