The hostel is just ok. It is too noisy at night because there is a disco just close the hostel. I don't reccomend it for this reason. Anyway, it is well located y the price is a bargain.

I stayed in Santa Marta for the last couple nights at Sun City and have nothing but rave reviews. It is in a really nice little building two blocks from the ocean and super close (max three blocks) from a cool shopping street and a bunch of crazy and cool night spots. Make sure to eat at the resataunt on the corner and try the Pina juice if they have it, its amazing along with all their rather simple but delicious and cheap food. . . .The one negative is that the music from the next door bar is rather loud till rather late but we were usually out ill around the time when it closed down anyway so it didnt affect us but if you are planning on an early night either be really tired or bring some ear plugs! Overall though top reviews, this is the place to stay. . . .
