I am not a party-animal type so I found the place splendid! If you are a light sleeper request a room away from the front of the building as the trams pass every hour but only until midnight. Will certainly be going back again.

I stayed in a twin room with my friend for 4 days. The staff were definitely nice and the location was really good too. The tram station was just right outside the door. Tram #8 took us right to the main streets. We could help ourselves with bread, milk, orange juice, ect., in the morning and it was great. New towels were provided every night and no problem with hot water! To be fair, however, I have to say the building is quite old and dark. The two bathrooms on the first floor had sinks that have two water taps, and you'd end up with either too cold or too hot water. So I had to wash my face and brush my teeth in the shower...The shower room was okay. Oh, you have to pay to use the internet ($3 per hour) and the laundry ($3). Overall, it's an okay place to stay.

myself and girlfriend had a great stay here for 3 days, such a cosy place to stay and they provide u with everything unlike any hostel we stayed in along the whole east coast.
