Hostel the Globe Centre is located near the famous Red Light District. It enjoys views of two major canals. Central Station is just 3 minutes walking distance
Hostel the Globe Centre is located near the famous Red Light District. It enjoys views of two major canals. Central Station is just 3 minutes walking distance from the hostel and less than a ten minute walk from major attractions including Dam Square, Flower Market, shopping, the lively Rembrandt Square many coffee-shops and much more in-between. The hostel location is great to have some pace and quiet away from the centre which is close by and easily accessible.
The hotel has 20 clean and pleasant private rooms, and each has its own en-suite bathroom and shower room. It has triple, quadruple, and up to 10 beds family en-suite available. Besides, we have the largest collection of shared dorms here in Amsterdam. We have shared dorm from 4 persons up to 20 persons! We also have free wireless connection available in the lobby area.
One of the Red Light Districts'' larger bars is situated here and is open until 3am on weekdays and 5am on weekend. You will also find a restaurant here serving English and American breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The hostel also has a sports cafe which shows all major sport events on two big screens and nine TVs such as the Super Bowl, Premier League and many other events. A pool table and darts board is available for those competitive guests.

Stayed in a three bed ensuite at the Globe over NYE, the room was extremely clean and a decent size. It\'sright in the heart of where you want to be and close to central station. The other facilities including the bar, smoking/games/chillout room and public bathrooms were also great even at such a busy time. As for the staff, they were extremely nice and helpful, being three girls their advice was great and Yu is amazing!! No \'socially retarded\' people allowed at the globe lol.
