The White Tulip Hostel is situated in the middle of the Red Light District with bars and coffee shops left, right and centre. Being so central means that you can easily access all areas of the city and you are in the middle of the lively Amsterdam on Warmoestraat. Central Station and Dam square are within walking distance and from here you can stroll to most of the city's main attractions.
The hostel is suitable for both group and people travelling alone and here you will find a great mix of people coming from all over the world. The 81 rooms are divided into private and dorm rooms accommodating up to 10 people.
The hostel's Irish Pub, Slainte has a warm, friendly atmosphere and the staff gives out that Irish Pub feeling. Here you can enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner at a 25% discount if you are a guest at the hostel. Don't hesitate to ask a member of staff questions. I stayed at last 10 hostel before this and be here for 7 nights. The problem in toulip is two: the toilet (shower) and the stairs. Shower -only in the first floor has some place to you leave the towel, clean and dirty clothes. Is terrible take a shower here. Stairs - There are 3 floors without lift and I got a terrible pain on the knee (6 nights in this hostel). But, the street is safe, just few steps from red light districtus and coffee shops.
