Built by travellers for travellers, here you'll find a place to call home for a few days while relaxing, having fun, and interacting with other likeminded people. Our place offers a break from your adventure, and yet still adventure in itself. It's an easy walk from here to pubs, eats, shops, music, laundry, library and post.

This is the place to stay to meet and connect. Relax in our back deck hot tub and watch the sun set with beautiful views of Mt. Pisgah. Our friendly, knowledgeable staff can tell you about all the great places to hike and check out in town. We have a great front porch and large back deck for hanging out, southern style.

Included in the nightly rate are: high-speed Wi-Fi, off-street parking, bikes to borrow and linen.

We now welcome hostellers travelling with dogs. They're only allowed in private rooms or camping, for an additional $10/night.

We make every possible effort we can at the moment towards sustainability. In addition to CFL light bulbs, we use rain-harvested water to wash laundry in biodegradable soap, and to supply water for our solar-heated outdoor shower. The food composted from our kitchen goes into our organic gardens that provide the harvest for meals at the hostel. Bathrooms are cleaned in all-natural cleansers, any plastic bags that come in are reused to line trash cans and we recycle tons of cardboard, plastic, metal and glass each year to minimize our effects on the environment.

Please note that all children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent.
