The Fylde International Backpackers in Blackpool, Anglie

Welcome to The Fylde International, Blackpool's only acredditted Backpackers. Centrally located we offer modern, clean accommodation to make your stay more comfortable. After 8 years of travelling and working overseas I decided to make The Fylde as comfortable as possible! I only offer private rooms as after a few weeks in dorms you need some privacy. All the rooms offer shower ensuites, Flat screen TV's and a place to make a cuppa!

Public Areas
We offer a large sun lounge with comfy sofas, Freeview TV, free internet and webcam for you to relax and enjoy. Downstairs we have transformed the Dining Room and Games Room throughout December and January 2010 to provide a comfortable space to relax, unwind and to meet new people! You will find a full sized pool table, games machines, board games, TV, music station, 5ft bean bags and a self catering area. It is the ideal place to hang out in and great for entertaining the family!

Walkers and Cyclists
We offer facilities for walkers and cyclists. We provide an indoor drying area and an undercover bicycle storage area which is secure. We provide laundry services and an area to wash your boots and bikes after a long day! Packed breakfast and packed lunches can be made to order. You will find a good selection of walking trails and cycle routes throughout Lancashire in our Sun Lounge tourist information area. We have the Walkers Welcome, Cyclists Welcome and Families Welcome accreditation with Visit Britain.

Dining Facilities
We include a hearty breakfast in all of our tariffs and new for this year, we have a self catering area in the Dining Room offering a combination microwave, kettle, toaster, and fridge. Help yourself to tea and coffee throughout the day at no additional cost. All of our food is home cooked. We offer an extensive menu to cater for your budget. Special diets and children's meals are also available. We aim to offer an ideal base for our guests to meet new people and relax after a day or night exploring Blackpool and its surrounding area.

Car Parking
We do have car parking space and we can provide parking for 6 for cars. This works on a first come first serve basis so is not guaranteed. Cars are parked at the guests discretion and as the space is limited, guests may have to move their cars each morning to prevent people getting blocked in due to the shape of the car park. Should you want the freedom to use your car as and when you please the nearest car park (Palatine Road Car Park) is located at the bottom of the street. Car parking is an added service and free of charge throughout your stay.

Checking In and Out
We aim to have your room ready for your arrival. Check in time is at 14.00pm. If for any reason your rooms are not ready then you are welcome to use the hotel facilities and leave your luggage with us. Checking out is slightly different! We ask you to vacate your rooms at 11.00am, and once again you are free to use all the hotel facilities until you depart. We can provide you with courtesy facilities should you have a late train, coach or flight. Please ask us if you require a late check out room.

Smoking
We are a NON SMOKING establishment. If you do smoke there is comfortable seating to the front of the Backpackers. We do not tolerate smoking in bedrooms or in any of the public areas, we do have a NO SMOKING policy in place. If smoking has occurred in bedrooms then a £100 cleaning charge will be added to your final bill. We thank you for respecting our policies and making it a smoke free environment for all of our guests.

Late Keys
All rooms are issued with a late key on arrival. The late key will give you flexibility to come and go as you please
