Origo Hostel is in a central location in a safe part of the city.
Very close to the River Danube, the Chain Bridge, the magnificent Parliament Building and Liberty Square. The newest pedestrian zone starts here.
Free wifi in every room.
You will be able to relax and feel comfortable in the cosy atmosphere of our colourful rooms.
And we are not a party hostel!
Our hostel is on the second floor of a typical Pest downtown building. We have 5 rooms, 2 bathrooms and a fully equipped guest kithcen

Our rooms:
Yellow - a double and a single bed, facing the courtyard
Red - a double bed, it is silent
Green - with single beds, for friends of 3 or 4
Blue - a huge double room facing the street
Velvet - twin room with 3 beds, ideal for 2 or 3
Everybody gets a private key, there is no lock-out.
You have to know, our hostel is not a party place. We do not accept bookings from more than 4 people.
Please note, check in from 11:00 till 23:00 (we do not have 24hour reception; for this reason we need to know your estimated arrival time). If you do not inform us about your delay, and you arrive more than 2 hours later, we have the right to sell your room
You should pay in cash upon arrival.
Cancellation is free of charge 48 hours prior to arrival up to 3 nights booking. For reservation from 4 nights booking one week prior to arrival is free.
In case of late cancellation or non-arrival the hostel keeps the right to charge you as follows: one night room rate will be charged up to 3 nights booking. 3 nights room rate will be charged from 4 nights booking.

This is slightly more like a guest house then hostel. It's all private rooms. The rooms are lovely and it is a good base to start your travels, but if you are looking for a social environment this is not for you. Jasmine, from England ~ 5th Mar 2013

The hostel is immaculate, very helpful friendly staff. If your looking for a lively hostel, then I wouldn't recommend this one, but if your looking for a relaxed, chilled out hostel, then strongly recommend the Origo.
