The Pacific Hotel - Dubai, is a popular budget accommodation hotel, with a very convenient downtown location, the hotel is situated just opposite the Bus Station that provides a convenient link to the rest of the city. With 32 well appointed rooms, including 2 suites, a restaurant, & very friendly staff, this hotel is quite a good choice for both business & leisure travellers.
Surrounding the hotel are all sorts of businesses like the Gold Souq, Textile Market, Electronics Market, Electrical & Hardware Market, etc. The hotel offers to arrange various activities like Dhow Cruises, Desert Safaris, Wadi Bashing trips, City Tours, etc. Car rentals, visa arrangements etc are also available at a very economical rate.

The room was smelly and the toilet not properly cleaned. My complaints about this were not taken seriously by the unfriendly staff. On the contrary, they explained that the state of the room would be ok for African tourists who usually stay at the hotel!! In any case, the room was heavily overcharged with 60 USD per night.
