Santa Brigida Eco Countryside Hostel in Gran Canaria, Spanelsko

Our small house is located in the countryside of Gran Canaria Island. It will feel like your home from home. Breakfast is included and there is a kitchen if you wish to prepare your own lunch or evening meal, and if you want to prepare pasta (spaguetti, macarroni, and noodles) or rice, most of the time you will not to buy them because the wil provided in a free way.. We have a 4-bed dorm and shared bathroom and a common sitting room/kitchen.


Our idea is to provide an accommodation service that is cheaper than what a low budget traveller is used to in Europe.



From our large terrace you have a wonderful view of the nature of Gran Canaria; far away from the noise of the city, but it is also only 5 minutes drive to Santa Brigida village, and 20 minutes to the beach of Las Canteras (Las Palmas) or 45 minutes to Maspalomas Beach in the south.



Bunk beds in the 4-bed dorm cost 15 euros per night per person. This includes, free breakfast, shared kitchen, living room, shower , wi-fi, outdoors sunbeds, outdoor shower. Guests are welcome to participate in the ecological garden and other projects.


The house is cleaned daily and the beds entirely new. An ideal location for relaxing and you will enjoy a good nights sleep in a natural environment, most times you will wake-up with the chattering of birds.

Thanks to the welcome guests new ideas, we have started offering a new and complementary way to stay in comfortable and cool tents in the camping area in our outdoor terrace. They are on unnatural grass, with brand new and cozy mattresses, linen, and if you have your own sleeping bag perfect, but if not we provide something to cover you. Gran Canaria is the perfect place to try and enjoy this new and different experience that you do not use normally to sleep in your own house

Santa Brigida Eco Countryside hostel is also a participatory project. Gradually, we want to turn an idea into reality, make an eco-sustainable hostel where you will find organic products, like shampoo, gel, detergents, fabric softeners, etc. Although they are more expensive we will provide them free during your stay with us because we believe in this way of living. We are already working on an organic garden, channel all rainwater to make irrigation possible, heat the hot water with solar panels, etc ... We appreciate your suggestions or ideas for improvement. The final idea is to make a project of self-sustainable energy which helps our environment.
