Kyoto Guest House is situated in Chung King Mansion in Tsim Sha Tsui. We have been open since 1997, providing comfortable, clean and safe accommodation with a positive attitude and a friendly smile.
All our rooms are equipped with colour television, free secure wifi, air-conditioning and cooling fan. All of our rooms (except one) have an en suite wet room (shower, toilet & sink) with near on-demand hot water.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
EARLY ARRIVAL & CHECK-IN
If you arrive early we can possibly check you in before 12:00. However, this is dependent on your room or rooms being vacated, freshly cleaned and serviced by the time you arrive.
If the previous guest has checked out early, it is more likely that we will have the room/ rooms cleaned and serviced by 12:00 hrs. However if there are many check-outs on the same day, it could take a bit longer.
If your room/rooms is not yet available, we can register you, take payment and look after your luggage until your room/rooms is ready. When you return, your luggage will be in your freshly cleaned and serviced room/rooms.
EARLY OR LATE ARRIVAL
If you are due to arrive before 12:00 hrs after 23.59 hrs, telephone us, email us or Skype us to inform us at what time you will arrive.
NON SMOKING
Kyoto Guest House is NON SMOKING throughout. (If we find that you have smoked in your room we will make a PENALTY charge on your credit card of up to 600 HKD for each night of your booking.)
PAYMENT and PRE AUTHORIZATION
The outstanding amount is payable to Kyoto Guest House directly upon your arrival before you check into your room.
We accept payment by Cash (HKD) and Credit Card (Mastercard and Visa, JCB and China Union Pay). There is a 3.0% credit card transaction fee.
We RESERVE the right to PRE AUTHORIZE your credit card to the amount payable directly on arrival. (Including a 3% credit card transaction fee.)
FULL and PART-CANCELLATION OF BOOKINGS
You can cancel or part-cancel any booking WITHOUT CHARGE as long as you do this NO LATER THAN 3 days (72 hours) before 09:00 hrs HKT of the date of your arrival.
Notification of cancellation must be done by email or Skype (TM) and the time of the arrival (HKT) of the email/ Skype message is the time Kyoto Guest House receives the email/ or Skype message.
LATE CANCELLATION, PART CANCELLATION and NO SHOW
If you NO SHOW or CANCEL or PART CANCEL your booking LESS THAN 3 days (72 hours) before 09:00 hrs HKT of the date of your arrival WE RESERVE THE RIGHT to charge your credit card (including a 3% credit card fee) for 100% of the first three nights of any booking.
By clicking on the green CONFIRM PAYMENT on the 'Part 5. Final Step' button when you make your booking, you agree to ACCEPT the Kyoto Guest House Terms and Conditions listed above and confirm that you have read and agree to all the terms and conditions including those of PAYMENT and PRE AUTHORIZATION and LATE CANCELLATION, PART CANCELLATION and NO SHOW. Please note that you are contracting with KYOTO GUEST HOUSE in respect of your reservation.
10% COMMISSION AND BOOKING FEE CHARGED BY WRI
Please be aware that the 10% 'Deposit/Downpayment/Booking Deposit' (i.e 10% COMMISSION) and the 'Service Charge' (i.e. BOOKING FEE) of USD 2.00/ EUR1.50 /GBP1.00 charged to your credit card on making this booking is paid directly to WRI and is not paid to Kyoto Guest House.
In the event of any cancellation, the 'Deposit/ Downpayment/ Booking Deposit' (i.e 10% COMMISSION) and 'Service Charge' (i.e. BOOKING FEE) of USD 2.00/ EUR1.50 /GBP1.00 are NON REFUNDABLE by WRI.

Cleanliness of bedsheets was only average. Rooms are really very small. The location however is great and close to the subway, right in the heart of Tsim Sha Tsui. Marc, from Germany ~ 27th May 2013

Our 3-person room included only two beds, so we had to share one of them, and the room was incredibly tiny. On the plus side, it had air conditioning, which was a lifesaver in the Hong Kong heat. There was also no communal meeting area, so it was difficult to meet fellow travelers. Not a great value for the money, although I get the impression that everything in Hong Kong is overpriced.
