First of all I want to introduce myself, I am Gaucho, the manager from this hostel, I'm descended from Germans (I am pretty organized and like to have everything right) and speak Portuguese, German and English. Since 2004 I live in Jeri, that's why I know the region and the dwellers pretty good, so I'm fully prepared to welcome you here. It will be a pleasure for us helping you during your stay in Jericoacoara..
I am sure that you will like to know the region, do some trips, visit the lagoons, have kite or windsurf lessons, learn capoeira or yoga, have some time to rest from your trip, amuse yourself on parties or with meeting other backpacker from all over the world.
The Jericoacoara Hostel at Pousada Tirol is the perfect place where you find a complete hostel environment.
Always with many backpackers as guests, we have many options of rooms, with many new mattresses, pillows and complete bed linen. We have a big good ventilated outside area with tables and many chairs, perfect to socializing and entertainment of guests. We have a lot of hammocks for you to relax and put your feet up after a long day (or night). It's a very cozy place.
We also have a garden to take a sunbath with a cool water shower to refresh.
In the green area around the hostel sometimes appear different wild animals, such as birds, small monkeys, iguanas, coatis, lizards or donkeys.
We have a complete kitchen and a BBQ grill where you can prepare your own meal. Usually our guests like to cook together, also using our little bar, always with ice cold drinks and snacks with good prices. It is also very easy to organize a happy hour with 'caipirinhas', music, BBQ where everyone can join.
Our breakfast is self-service and is served at our ventilated outside area.
You will find many energy points around the hostel to connect your equipments, and our speedy Wi-Fi will make it easier to get in contact with your friends, family and the world. Table games or beach games we also have.
We offer laundry service, but there is also a place where you can wash and hang up your clothes.
There is a small library with books in different languages, maps and information which could help you during your trip.
We organize trips to the lagoons and transfers to Fortaleza with responsible drivers. As our guest, you will receive special prices for the transport to Parnaiba (from where you can go to Barrerinhas- Lençois) and also for kite lessons in one of the best Kite school from Jeri. We have also partnership with a windsurf school where you can also rent equipments.
Don't forget the most important: our localization is perfect. We are the only hostel right in the center of Jeri, close to everything: 20 meters to the supermarket and other stores; in front have a bakery 24h open and one restaurant with cheap food and another one which serves the best grilled fish of the town. Our street is wide and very safe during day and night, with good access to get everywhere.
With the tradition to be the first and the most complete hostel from the region, we always looking for improve and innovate our hostel just for your comfort and satisfaction.
In Jericoacoara you will feel welcome, that's why you probably want to stay longer than you planned (more than 70% our guests stay longer than they planned).
If you don't find a place here, you can also make your reservation at Pousada Jangadeiro (100m distance to beach direction), there you can also use all the service and comfort of Hostel Tirol.
