This farmhouse hostel can be found just outside Claremorris and close to Knock, Kaltimagh, Ballintubber and Casltebar, Co. Mayo.
The hostel is found in a renovated farm building situated in a peaceful valley and is on a real working farm. The farm is a traditional Irish mixed farm with goats, cattle, donkey, sheep, pigs and free range poultry.
The hostel is situated off the N60 Castlebar road 5 miles from Claremorris town, 18 minutes drive from Knock Shrine, 30 minutes from Ballintubber Abbey and 1 hour from Croack Patrick.
Other attractions include the Museum of Country Life Castlebar, Foxford Woollen Mills, Achill Island and Westport. 35 minutes drive from Knock Airport.
Own transport is essential, shops, pubs and restaurants located 8 km from the hostel in Claremorris.
Light breakfast included in price, quiet location, self guided scienic walks. Come and meet Dinny our cat, Teasy the dog and Colonel the donkey!

Wow, what a gem out in the Farm Counrty of ireland. This is a real live working farm and this hostel is an awesome place to stay. Close to Knock and Castlebar and realatively close to westport and Crogh Patrick Mountain. This place is clean and the facilities are excellent. You will not be disappointed. Our family of 6 felt this was one of the best and more interesting places we stayed during our 15 days in Ireland. Thomas, from USA ~ 5th Sep 2012
