We aim to be the best valued hostel provider. Our rates start from RM 20 or just US$6 a nite for a comfortable dorm bed!
All our rooms and dorms are air-conditioned and each bed comes with personal security locker, power points and lights. Other amenities include; modern toilets with hot/cold shower, guest lounge with TV, roof-top beer garden. Our guests also enjoy free services like use of internet, unlimited WIFI access, continental breakfast, tour desk and a travel resource centre.
Your safety is our paramount concern. Our premise is monitored by 24hrs CCTV and all floors are access controlled by security access system. Our front desk is also opened 24hrs to ensure you get the assistance at all times.

1) Please note that your reservation will be held for 3 hours on your indicated arrival time. Should you be late, please give us a call or drop us a mail enquiry@fernloft.com to inform us or else we will consider it as no show. The hostel has the right to relocated / cancel the reservation with NO refund on their deposit .
2)For reservation with No arrival time given, we will assumed that you will arrive at 1400hrs. Policy still applies for late / cancellation
3) Check in time is 1400hrs and Check out time is 11 am, but you are welcome to leave your baggage at the hostel till you are ready to leave! Just help us clear the beds / rooms so that we can clean up for the next guest!
4) For check in like 1am - 8am , please book the previous date (Eg check in 2 January , 0100am , please book for 1 January )
Reception timing: 9AM-5AM, check-in after the said timing kindly email Fernloft directly to make the necessary arrangements Age restriction: We do not accept children of less than 12years old in our dormitory unless it is booked exclusively for your guests only

Great location, right next to Chinatown. Great security, you need a keycard to get in and out. There's a key scanner at the main entrance, and again on your floor. Lockers are provided right next to the bed. We stayed in a 22 bed room and it was comfortable enough. No window so it did smell a little. Wifi signal was good. The washrooms were decent. The rooftop sitting area (where breakfast of toast and jam is served) is a good place to meet fellow travellers. The AC comes up between 7pm and 9am. Julie, from Canada ~ 25th Apr 2013

Beds and beddings are ok, you have to put them on when you arrive and check them out with you when you check out.Bathrooms are shared for both male and female, so that's not so good, also the floor is quite wet.Breakfast is toast and coffee/tea/milo.If you don't have high expectations, then Fernloft is ok.
