O Equity Point Lisboa

We're in the best possible location: right in the heart of the city, at the crossroads of the Chiado, Bairro Alto and Restauradores neighbourhoods.
Equity Point Lisbon is the company�s eighth hostel. It has 108 beds distributed amongst rooms that range from doubles to 10-bed rooms. All rooms are outward-facing and some of them lead out to a balcony.
The hostel has a large common area for eating breakfast and it is surrounded by different terraces where you can enjoy a drink or just chill out on a warm summer afternoon. There is a TV lounge area as well as a chill-out area in front of the reception.
The hostel also offers free Wi-Fi, a couple of internet computers and it is open 24 hours a day.
Guest will be required to show an official ID with photo at upon arrival.
Person under the age of 18 years are only allowed to stay in private rooms or dormitory rooms that are booked for use of one family or group of persons, and can't share a dormitory rooms with other guests. People under 18 years of age must travel with their parents or legal guardian.
Besides all the pressure for transforming this state of the art 18th Century Building into a luxury boutique Hotel, we kept our goal to open the Palace Lisbon Hostel in June 2010.
As we are in the central part of Lisbon, we have a good transport network, reaching the bus from the Airport (every 20m), the metro station, and the Train to Sintra under 150 meters. You won't believe how good the location is. Lisbon isn't very big, but it's a steep climb everywhere. That's why we use the typical yellow trams, and lucky you, the famous Gloria's elevator is just 50 meters away.
If you need indoor space, our Bar, TV room, Internet corner or Chillout Lounge will give you plenty of choice. Fell involved in the building, the 4 meters tall ceilings, the handmade doors, the old fashion worked walls or the hand painted tiles will let you breathe old times grandness. Decorated by young Portuguese Artists, our aim is to provide trendy comfort with culture embracement.
Super clean facilities will be our battle every day. Good breakfast, Mega fast free internet and high pressure showers are guaranteed.
Our big problem will be that you won't want to leave the Palace Hostel. But we will make our best efforts to oblige you.

Very nice, new and cool house.. However, since its a big and popular hostel, loud talking in the corridor late at night is the least you can expect.. be prepared! Guilherme, from Brazil ~ 20th May 2013

It was very disappointing to find that 70 school children were staying at the hostel. These kids are a nuisance factor. They are loud, had to complain about the noise long after midnight. The staff did take action. They take forever in the showers. There was some drunkeness and spewing.All good stuff when you are a teenager. If you are going to cram school trips into your hostel to maximise profits then i will give it a big miss in the future. fred, from England ~ 15th May 2013
