A peaceful sanctuary in the historical center of the city, the Posada de los �ngeles is a small guest house that offers its clients a tranquil atmosphere from where they can enjoy all that the city of Oaxaca has to offer.
Our roomy single and double occupancy guest rooms feature private bathrooms, minibars, and safe deposit boxes. The Posada also offers its guests a spacious outdoor patio filled with native trees and flowers, as well as shared kitchen facilities so that guests can enjoy the company of others. We have free wireless internet access for guests who bring their own laptops, as well as a computer for guest use and cable TV. The Posada also has two mountain bikes available for guest use.
The Posada is located within easy walking distance from parks, cafes, museums, and the z�calo, the true heart of the city of Oaxaca.

Staff were very nice, but the hostel was disappointing. The showers were pathetic: just a dribble of hot water and plugged drains I don't think they are cleaned very often. The sheets and mattress cover, though washed, had bloodstains. Though there were 2 of us, only one towel was provided. We were charged more than indicated on line (about $45 CDN per couple per night) and, though we showed staff the website, they would not change their minds. We loved our stay at Posada de los Angeles.Wish our Spanish was any good so we could have spoken more with the owners but they could not have been nicer or more helpful - especially after our unexpected very late arrival. Gayle, from USA ~ 26th Nov 2012
