Lama Temple International Youth Hostel is an attractive hostel located in Beijing's historic Dong Cheng district. We offer budget accommodation in private and dormitory rooms with comfortable beds and hot showers.
We are located just 30 metres from the nearest subway station and close to many bus stops, allowing quick and easy access to all the city-centre sights and the airport. As our name suggests, we are located very close to the Lama Temple.
We provide a number of guest facilities, including a bar, café and restaurant, a common room, bicycle rental and wireless internet access. We also offer a wide variety of tours to all the main sights, including the Great Wall.
Lama Temple is part of a group of hostels across China including the Nanjing Fuzimiao Youth Hostel and the beautifully situated Guilin Flowers Youth Hostel (both of which can be booked online through hostelworld.com). All three hostels are accredited by the YHA (Youth Hostel Association) and as such maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and service.

The hostel is very clean and the personnel is always ready to help. The amusement part is always hard to rate at and hostel since it depends a lot on whom you meet, and I did meet some wonderful people. The location is great, the only thing I felt was lacking was street food at proximity but then again, I did not ask if there was, I simply did not find any.
