The Villa Backpackers Lodge in Picton, New Zealand

The Villa has ensuite Queen and Twin Rooms as well as Double Rooms, four-bed Shared Rooms and Dormitories/Bunkrooms. All of our rooms are clean, heated, safe and welcoming. There are linen and blankets provided for all beds.

We offer free hot apple crumble with ice cream and breakfast (May - October). There\'s also free Wi-Fi for our guests and free use of bicycles, fishing gear, guitar, X-Box, DVD library and our pool table.

We have a hot spa pool and a sundrenched garden with plenty of loungers to relax in, with a treehouse plus a hammock in the front to watch the world go past. Our fire in the courtyard makes for great evening conversations and live music.

We run free ferry pickups on request.

Guests are welcome to use our two fully equipped kitchens and the BBQ kitchen.

We have guest laundry facilities, Sky TV in our separate TV lounge and handicapped facilities.

We offer a free booking service for the Queen Charlotte Track and have tent hire available and free storage for your bags - nothing for you to worry about while you enjoy a beautiful walk.

Our reception is open 8.15am to 9.30pm every day. We can do late check-ins; just advise us in advance. Check-out: 10.00am. You are welcome to stay in our hostel until your ferry or bus departs. Check-ins are possible all day although the room might not be ready before 11am. We have a 24-hour cancellation policy but are flexible with special circumstances.
