The Dakota Hotel offers comfortable accommodation in a range of private rooms and dormitories, all equipped with en-suite bathrooms, telephones, satellite television, refrigerators and microwaves. Breakfast is included in the rates and linen, towels, soap and shampoo are provided free of charge.
We are located in downtown San Francisco's theatre district, close to the shops and the nightlife of Union Square. We offer a variety of facilities including internet access, luggage storage, laundry, bicycle rental, a kitchen and a common room.
We operate a 24-hour reception and do not have a curfew.

This review should be under the Fitzgerald hotel, since we got an upgrade and moved to the hotel. Clean, cheap and location is simply perfect. Good deals to get a lift to/from airport with the shuttle company and to rent a bike for $18 in blazing bikes. MARIA, from Spain ~ 1st Mar 2012

I have stayed at the Dakota Hotel in the past and have always been very charmed. This time I booked with the Dakota but was given a room at the neighboring hotel, The Fitzgerald. I was extremely disappointed with the quality of the room due to it\'s tacky decor, cheap and uncomfortable amenities, unidentifiable matter on a throw pillow, and general grime. When I inquired at the front desk about the change in hotel (without being notified) I was told that was just the way they do things. Yuck! allison, from USA ~ 29th Feb 2012
