Located in historic Fort Mason -- part of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area -- HI-San Francisco Fisherman's Wharf is surrounded by the park on one side, and breathtaking views of the Bay, Alcatraz, and the Golden Gate Bridge on the other.

Enjoy a more rustic stay without leaving the city -- come back from excursions to nearby Fisherman's Wharf, Pier 39, North Beach (Little Italy), or the posh Marina district, and relax on the sundeck or in front of our wood burning stove.

Pack a picnic from our Cafe Franco -- which serves up healthy organic lunches and dinners as well as a free continental breakfast -- and head out to explore the park's walking paths, galleries, and performance spaces. To see the city, hop on a MUNI bus just outside the park, or join us for free and cheap daily activities like pub crawls, walking tours, museum visits, and day trips to places like Muir Woods, wine country, or Yosemite.
