Cherry Blossoms (March to April)
Among the shrine and temple courtyards of Mishima, around two hundred cherry trees are planted. There are about 15 different varieties, including Shidare-zakura, Ohshima-zakura, Somei-Yoshino as well as Mishima- zakura. One after another, they reach full bloom in the local shrines from the end of March to the beginning of April, when many visitors revel in the beauty.

Art Museum
The Sano Art Museum is a museum exhibiting pre-modern Asian art pieces such as swords(Samurai Valuable Katana collection), pottery, paintings, and Noh drama masks. The garden surrounding the museum, named Ryusen-en, is in the Japanese style, beautiful to wander in all four seasons.

When I checked in, the lobby reeked oƒ tobacco smoke. The hallway to my room as only a little less. At 8:00 at night, I began to smell it in my room. By 8:30 my eyes were stinging. Iƒ you are not a smoker, then, stay away ƒrom this hotel. I will never stay here again. James, from Australia ~ 16th Jun 2012
