Castanea Old Town Hostel in Stockholm, Sweden

Castanea Old Town Hostel is one of the most central hostels in Stockholm, only 200 metres from the Royal Palace and close to tourist attractions, shops, cafes and restaurants. We are also just one metro stop from Central Station. Castanea is an attractive hostel located on a narrow cobbled street.

We are located in the middle of the Old Town, one of the world's best preserved medieval city centre. Castanea is a modern hostel in a charming building from 1747.

Reception hours: 9.00-11.00 and 15.00-18.00.
Check-in: 15.00-18.00.
For arrivals before 15:00 or after 18.00 please contact us 2-6 days before arrival to arrange for check-in.

All beds are supplied with a duvet and a pillow. Bed linen and towels are available at the reception for hire or alternatively you can bring your own. Please note that either way bed linen must be used. Due to hygienic reasons, the use of sleeping bag is not allowed.

We have a nice guest kitchen where you can prepare your own breakfast or other meals.

In our dormitory we have lockers, so bring your own padlock or rent from us.
Toilets and shower are shared and located in the corridor. We have guest computer and free wireless in the common room (which also works in most rooms).

We are a no-smoking property and pets are not allowed

Cancellation must be made two days prior to arrival, if not the first night will be charged.
