O Suzhou Joya International Youth Hostel

Joya International Youth Hostel is located in the preserved old town area of Suzhou, and offers comfortable, inexpensive accommodation in private rooms and dormitories housed in three traditional Chinese courtyard residences. Shared or en-suite bathrooms are available, and rooms feature free wireless internet access.
We are situated next to the canal and within easy reach of a number of attractions, including Guan Qian Street, Lion Grove, the Humble Administrator Garden and more.
Facilities include a guest kitchen, bicycle hire, a common room, laundry, luggage storage and a tours desk.

Our hostel has a no smoking policy
we close at midnight.

I really enjoyed staying in this hostel.My only complaint was that I was here over New Year and the hostel was run very badly.There was a problem with the elecrics which meant that the wifi and the heating did now work for a few days.The staff were not inclined to sort it out.On new years Eve they locked the front door with a phone number attached to ring if you wanted to come in but when we rang no one answered cos the staff were in the shower.They were flexible though with the curfew dearbhla, from Ireland ~ 13th Feb 2012
