La Posada de las Esencias is a historical guesthouse located 35km from Valladolid in the town of La Seca. Beautifully restored using the original designs, the old rooms of this traditional house have been given a new lease of life and are waiting to welcome our guests.
We offer a range of guest rooms and suites, all named after different essences. Modest, comfortable and bright, rooms are equipped with air conditioning, TV and WiFi.
Guests also have access to a cosy living room leading to the sunny porch and patio. Our huge stone cellar boasts a wide selection of wines, a shop and a restaurant specialising in traditional regional food from Castilla y Leon.

Rubbish - having had our reservation confirmed by hostels.com3 days earlier, on phoning the hotel on the morning of our reservation to confirm our time of arrival on New Year's Eve, we were told the hotel was closed but when we explained that we had a reservation we were told not to turn up!Our New Year's evening was spent in a motel beside the motorway south of Madrid with a cullinary dinner in a Cafeteria, all thanks to Hostels.com.Not a night to remember but no doubt we will!!
