Alaska Backpackers Inn in Anchorage, Amerika

We are located in downtown on the corner of 4th Avenue and Eagle Street, 1 block north of the Sheraton Hotel. We are 7 miles from the airport. The taxi fare will cost you approximately $20, however, once in the hostel everything is within walking distance, so you wont have to pay for any more transportation inside the city. If you decide to go the cheaper route and use the bus, go to bus stop at the airport and wait for bus 7A. It will drop you off at the downtown transfer station. From there you can walk towards the mountains on 5th avenue until you stumble on the Sheraton (15 minutes walk) and then make a left. Don't feel like walking? Grab bus 45 at the station and it will drop you off right on our corner.
