You will arrive at Leipzig's modern main train station - the largest main line station in Europe. Directly in front of the train station is the central tram station. Take tram no. 1 (direction Lausen) or no. 14 (direction Plagwitz). Get a 'Kurzstrecke' (short journey) tram ticket, which costs €1.30, from the ticket machines at the tram station. Get off at the second tram stop (Gottschedstrae). The Sleepy Lion Hostel is directly across the road.

An alternative to the tram ride is a 10 minutes walk. Leave the train station and follow the Trndlinring to the right, then the Goerdelerring until you pass the Hauptfeuerwache (main fire station). Turn into the Kthe-Kollwitz-Str. and you'll see us in the second building on the left side.
