City Focus: London

This week we look at London for our City Focus. It’s one of Europe’s most popular cities as well as being the capital of England. On a visit to London you will be met with some very hard choices as there is so much to see and do all over this large city.

One of the best things about London is that most of its museums and galleries are free to enter. This is an added bonus if you are visiting London on a budget. Some of these freebie museums include the Tate Modern, the Natural History Museum and the Science Museum. If you have some money to spend on your London sightseeing then why not take a spin on the London Eye? Here you will be greeted with some amazing views of the city of London. And if you get a fine day in London make sure you explore some of the city parks such as Hyde Park or Finsbury Park.

There will be plenty more choices on hand when it comes to eating and drinking in London as there are places to suit all tastes. One of the best ways to narrow down your search is to pick a neighbourhood or area and make you choices there. So maybe somewhere like Shoreditch or Camden Town? And if you’re a curry fan don’t miss out on a visit to Brick Lane!

And for somewhere to stay in London take your pick of these top rated hostels – YHA London Central, St Christopher's Camden or Palmers Lodge - Swiss Cottage.
