City Focus: Paris

This week we turn the focus on Paris for a quick snippet of what this great city has to offer!

Paris is packed full of great attractions and one of our favourite things to do in any city is to get outdoors if the weather allows so. A fine day in Paris makes for the ideal setting for exploring the many city parks. Our pick of Paris parks include the stunning Jardin du Luxembourg. Here you will find Italian style gardens with an octagonal pond known as the Grand Bassin along with fountains, chairs and sculptures all in the shadow of the Palais du Luxembourg. Other popular Paris parks include Parc Andre Citroen and Parc Floral de Paris.

Eating out in Paris is a must as the city is renowned for its amazing cafes and restaurants. In fact, many people will say their favourite thing to do in Paris is to sit out in front of a cafe along the Seine and watch the world go by – a very peaceful way to spend an hour or two! Some tried and tested Parisian cafes include Aux Folies on Rue de Belleville, Chez Prune on Rue Beaurepaire and Pause Cafe on Rue de Charonne to name but a very small few!

And if you’re looking for a budget bed for your Paris stay make sure you check into one of these great top rated Paris hostels - St Christopher's Paris, Le Village or Regent Hostel.

Bon voyage!
