Going to Galway?

Galway in the west of Ireland is one of the Emerald Isle's most popular cities for both tourists and also among the Irish too. Galway is a beautiful city that has a really small and friendly feel to it. There is lots going on around Galway and that's what makes it such a popular choice, especially during its summer months!

The west coast city of Galway is approx 51 square kilometres. It is a small city that is very easy and enjoyable to walk around.

Roughly 72,500 people live in Galway City. It is one of the fastest growing cities in Ireland.

Q. What are the language and the currency?

English is the main language spoken in Galway but if your go to certain places around the county of Galway you will find Irish language (Gaeilge) speaking villages and towns. The Euro is the currency.
