One of 2011’s biggest sporting events is fast approaching as September sees the start of the Rugby World Cup in New Zealand.
Rugby fans from all over the world have been anticipating this tournament for quite some time now, as too have the teams. The past few months have seen intense training and challenge matches as each country gears up to take home the coveted World Cup title.
Adding to the excitement that comes with the Rugby World Cup is that the host nation for 2011 is New Zealand – where they live and breathe rugby! Home to the All Blacks, rugby fans coming to Auckland, Wellington and the other host cities can expect a very warm welcome.
The first game of the 2011 Rugby World Cup takes place in Auckland on September 9th as New Zealand take on Tonga. So if you plan on visiting New Zealand this September make sure to visit one of the Rugby World Cup host cities to sample the atmosphere.
