Street Performance World Championship 2010
From June 17th to 20th Dublin’s Merrion Square in the city centre will be alight with activity and people from all over the world. The AIB Street Performance Festival has its second Irish outing this coming week after a successful weekend in Cork last week. This weekend, Merrion Square will be a perfect day out for all the family so if you are looking for somewhere to entertain the kids as well as the adults then look no further.
The Street Performance World Championship brings the best contortionists, magicians, break-dancers, comedians and lots more entertainment from all over the world to Irish shores. This is the fifth year that the Street Performance World Championship is running in Merrion Square and will draw crowds in their thousands out to watch all the fun, festivities and competitions!
Acts from around the globe will be performing in Dublin all weekend so it’ll be the perfect excuse to leave your Dublin hostel early and wander around this city square. You can find Merrion Square very easily if you are in the south side of the city centre... and we are sure you will be able to hear all the festivities from all around. And the best thing about the Street Performance World Championship in Dublin’s Merrion Square this weekend... It’s all free! So now you’ve no excuse not to go out and enjoy some of the world’s best street performances! Now let’s just hope the sun comes out for the whole weekend!
