If you find yourself in Melbourne and want to get out in the fresh air then pay a visit to the Royal Botanic Gardens.

You will find the Royal Botanic Gardens between the Yarra River and St. Kilda Road in Melbourne. These beautifully landscaped gardens are not to be missed as they are conveniently located in the city centre.

Melbourne’s Royal Botanic Gardens are world renowned as there are close to 38 hectares of landscaped gardens showcasing a mix of both native and international vegetation. A trip to these gardens is a must when visiting Melbourne as they offer a nice walk in beautiful surroundings and they are also a great free thing to do in Melbourne. Keep an eye out for events taking place in the Royal Botanical Gardens too as they sometimes play host to performances in the summertime.
