Free things to in Europe: London, England
London is always a popular choice for tourists from all over the world as the city has so much to offer. There is so much to see and do all over London from historical sites to modern art, there’s something to suit all tastes. But with all this choice things can get a bit pricey. However, one of the great things about London is that there are also a lot of free things to do in the city.
One of our favourite things to do in London is something that can be enjoyed on a nice summer’s day or a crisp winters one; it’s a walk down the South Bank along the River Thames. Some of the top attractions of London can be found along this route such as the London Eye, Tate Modern Museum and the Millennium Bridge. The South Bank is always a busy one with lots of tourists and locals enjoying the walk. Also along the route you will find cafes and pubs as well as some pop up markets such as the Southbank Book Market. If you continue to walk along the side of Thames you will make your way towards London Bridge and eventually the Tower of London.
A walk down the South Bank is one of the best ways of seeing some of the top London attractions and best of all you can take them all in for free!
