Q - Have you ever visited Paris? We want your top tips for visiting the French capital - what to do, where to eat and drink and what to see? Please leave your suggestions in a comment below!
Bernard Mangnay loves Paris and he reckons you should do your research when buying your Metro ticket to get the best price. Bernard also suggests taking a walk around the Notre Dame Cathedral, particularly around the small streets as you will find a lot of cafes that are cheaper than the main tourist areas.
Virginie Vökler simply states that Sacre Coeur is a must see on your trip to Paris! This is a popular Basilica that you will find in the Montmartre region.
Menchu Fajardo Bardon suggests the number one attraction for most tourists to Paris, the beautiful Eiffel Tower! She also gives a good reminder to bring your map and some French phrases for help with asking for directions.
Catriona Gray suggests the Catacombs of Paris which are an underground cemetery that are a popular tourist attraction today.
Clara Gaspar recommends Montmartre if you’re looking for a nice place to go. Clara also suggests that you don’t forget to see the Moulin Rouge, even if it's just from outside! And if you are hungry then “eat some croissants and you must try macaroons, the best ones are from Laduree!”
