Travel Tip: Boston Parks
Boston, Massachusetts is adored by all who visit its historic shores. There’s something about this quaint city where the city centre resembles more of a charming English village than a leading US metropolis. One of the best things to do in Boston on a fine day is to enjoy the outdoors, particularly its public parks.
Boston has some great outdoor spaces and public parks on offer across the city, but two of its biggest and best lie side by side in the city centre. Boston Public Gardens and Boston Common are where you will find Bostonians soaking up the summer sun or enjoying a spring time walk on a fine day in Boston.
In Boston Public Gardens you will find a lake surrounded by open spaces with trees, flower beds and statues. You can also go out onto the lake for a boat trip. Boston Common is one the oldest parks in America with large green spaces, walkways, trees, a frog pond and playground. Part of Boston Common also lies in the shadow of the new Boston State House.
Don’t miss out on a walk through either of these great Boston parks if you are visiting this popular destination.
