Travel Tip: Sydney Harbours
Sydney lies in a stunning coastal location and they really do make the most of their natural waterfronts. One of the city’s most popular tourist attractions is Sydney Harbour which is home to the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Sydney Opera House.
Sydney Harbour may be a popular location because of the aforementioned notable attractions, however the harbour is a beautiful area in itself and the whole area has been redeveloped over the years to make the most of this. It’s also home to some great bars and restaurants with some of the best views of the city. You can take in some pretty spectacular views from the Sydney Harbour Bridge too as here you can climb up the bridge and walk across the top of it! However, this can be expensive, but fear not as you can enjoy the views simply by walking or cycling across the bridge.
Another great harbour area to check out in Sydney is Darling Harbour. This area is a huge tourist area west of the city centre. Despite its popularity it is a fun area to visit in Sydney as there’s always a buzzing atmosphere and lots of entertainment. It is home to lots of bars and restaurants as well as museums, galleries, cinema and it is home to many outdoor events too.
Sydney is also renowned for its beaches as well so make sure you explore these too. Bondi Beach is perhaps it’s most popular but pay a visit to some of the lesser known beaches too where you can avoid the crowds but enjoy some stunning locations.
