Airports - Love them or hate them?

Whether you travel at least once a month or just once a year, people can have very strong opinions about airports. Some people love the hustle and bustle of airports and the crowds of people jetting off all over the world. While others hate all the hassle that can come with airports like check in queues and security measures.

Here at Hostels.com HQ we've been having a chat about this topic, and after a quick scan through the interweb, there seems to be a lot of discussions going around on this debate. Some even list a selection of the world's most annoying airports such as Chicago's O'Hare or LA's LAX.  But after a recent visit to both Dublin and London Gatwick airports I'm getting the sense that airports are changing and becoming nicer places. They're slowly being re-vamped and made brighter and more modern, making them nicer places to hang about for your flight or delayed connection. Or is that just me? Do you break out in a sweat as soon as you hop on the bus to the airport, or do you try your best to get there a few hours earlier to avail of all the shopping and restaurants? Leave your comments below and let us know what you reckon!
