Alternative Fashion Week in London is a must
It's being put on in Spitalfields by Alternative Arts between the 19th and 23rd of April and those who attend - an audience of at least 10,000 is expected - will be able to check out live fashion shows every day at 13:15 GMT, as well as the work of over 70 designers who have come from all over the world to display their creative talents. What's more, if you're a bigger fan of music than you are of clothes, your tastes will be catered for too as some contemporary jazz will be playing at the same time as the catwalk events. Yay!
Perhaps best of all - and all those who have done a bit of travelling and who know just how tight money can be will know what I'm talking about - this event is free, which means that you'll be able to enjoy it with a clear conscience. Unless, of course, you see a jacket that you absolutely have to have and end up blowing your holiday budget in one quick swipe of a card.
