Booking a cheap hostel in Berlin should be an immediate priority if you want to attend the Classic Open Air event in the city.
It has been running since 1992 and each year since has turned the German capital into a festival of opera, swing, soul and jazz.
The organisers note there's a "unique atmosphere" and picturesque architecture in the city which might be why the series has been so successful over the years.
Reserving a Berlin hostel near the Gendarmenmarkt could be a good idea if you want to be near the action but not so if you think it will be too loud.
If you're into your opera then you may recognise a few famous names set to perform at the music event, such as Jose Carreras who is opening the concert.
Ramon Vargas, Roberto Alagna and Lucia Aliberti will also be up there strutting their stuff, as well as Lady in Red singer Chris de Burgh.
Putting your name down for a hostel in Berlin from July 15th until the 19th will be the ideal amount of time if you want to check out the extravaganza, but some might also like to take in the other sights and sounds that the German city has to offer.
Those who are planning on staying in the capital for a few weeks could visit the Bread and Butter fashion show at Berlin's Tempelhof Airport from July 7th until the 9th.
